We have first hand information from one of our team on how daunting it is when cancer is first diagnosed especially if you have to go away from home for treatment. How the little things can grow out of all proportion, the worry about who picks you up at the airport, about what the hotel is like or whether the food is good or not. We have produced a special DVD for these patients. It contains photographs taken in all areas that show you where your pick up point is at the airport, what the hotel amenities are like, what to expect when you get to the hospital and how you will get there.
